CONCACAF (a Confederation of Northerly, Exchange Our contries & Caribbean Association Football), likewise referred to as A Football Confederation, is the continent-wide organization for association football in North America, Central America and the Caribbean. 3 South American entities, a independent nations of Guyana and Suriname, and a French département of French Guiana, are too members.
CONCACAF was founded around its todays form within 1961 and is one of the sextuplet continental confederations allied to FIFA. Its primary administrative functions come to organize competitions for national teams & clubs, & to conduct World Cup qualifying tournaments.
